Born as Grace Yalley on April 29, 1999, in Dompim – Tarkwa, Ghana, Kissys discovered her passion for singing at a young age, drawing inspiration from her mother. She attended Sekondi College and completed her high school education in 2016.

In 2021, Kissys experienced a breakthrough in her music career with the release of her debut single, “Katapault.” The song garnered attention from her family and the local community, establishing her as a promising female artist. The accompanying music video received significant airtime on major radio and TV stations in Ghana.

Moreover, Kissys gained recognition as the First Runner Up on Joy Prime TV’s Prime Studio reality show in 2020. Since then, she has released five singles, including “Y3 Nko Di” and “Bambam” in 2022, “Y3 twa adaso” in 2022, and her latest release, “Sumomi,” in 2023.

Driven by her desire to bring joy to people’s lives and give voice to the underprivileged and marginalized, Kissys operates as an independent artist, recording her songs primarily at Short Recording Studio.
